Today we started editing! We grouped the footage we had by verse and chorus and started putting the footage together for the first verse. We encountered a few problems, for example we didn't have any footage we liked of Malory singing the very first word, she didn't come in on the first few words which we didn't realise until we came to use the footage. To overcome this we decided to use footage we had of just her lips singing the first few words. This looked quite good because she smiles just before she starts to sing. However, I'm not sure whether the first shot should be of her so the audience establishes who she is. I think we will keep it as it is for now but if we change our minds we can re film the beginning on our next filming day in January.
We downloaded the music finding the best quality version and put it on to the timeline.
